Operation Ozone is a thought provoking campaign that uses variable font technology and creative typography to visualise the invisible ozone layer and reinforce its ecological significance. Inspired by the poem ‘Letter to Corona’, it draws attention to the hidden impact of individual actions on the environment and how together we can make a difference. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, a rapid recovery of the ozone layer demonstrated the profound effects of small, collective changes. Operation Ozone encourages people to learn from this moment and highlights everyday activities - such as choosing public transport over driving or reducing air conditioner use - that collectively shape our environmental impact.
