How can typography reveal how freedom and regulation shape our online beliefs?
As of October 2024, 67.5% of the global population connects online, making digital platforms the primary space where beliefs are formed. But in this space, unfiltered freedom collides with strict regulation, shaping what we see, trust, and share. This campaign uses a variable coded version of Times New Roman, an iconic typeface associated with fact and authority, to make these invisible forces tangible. As the font shifts in legibility, it reveals how information is amplified, suppressed, or distorted, allowing users to experience first-hand how freedom and control shape their beliefs.
